Is this an appraisal?
No. RoomReceipts helps you document what you own and estimate its value. The figures are estimates, not appraisals, and you're responsible for reviewing them. It's built to make your own records organized, timestamped, and credible.
What makes the records "evidence-grade"?
When you capture something, the server records the time it was received, checks the GPS location, and stores a SHA-256 hash of the exact file. Because those are set at upload and can't be changed afterward, the record shows what existed as of that date.

No. Your data is scoped to your account. The only way anything leaves is an export you start and confirm yourself, sent as a secure link that expires in 30 days.
What happens if I cancel?
We generate a final export for you and then delete your data after a retention window. Subscriptions are managed through the App Store or Google Play.
